COMMUNITY EVENTS

Out of the Suitcase Puppet Festival was a not-for-profit festival with door sales from performances going to the performers, less 10% to Child Poverty
Action Group. With the support from Creative NZ, Creative Communities, The Island Bay Enhancement Society, The Empire Cinema, the Puppeteers of NZ and the wider Wellington Community. Puppet theatre is a powerful language that can touch people from all walks of life, and provides an invaluable voice to help share our stories, and nurture our sense of community.

In addition to co-organizing the 'Out of the Suitcase' (OOTS) puppet festival, with Rose Beauchamp. Raylene also produced several promotional web videos and documented events from the festival for the web.
